The thesis, in three lines

THROUGHPUT

A robot sells throughput and nothing else. If a candidate doesn't raise units per hour of attention, it's a demo.

RIGID INTERFACE

The robot must only ever touch something rigid — but that thing needn't be the product. A handle or jig is enough.

THE INVERSION

Humans are good at repetition-with-skill. Robots are good at variation-without-skill. Every strong candidate exploits that.
